Alaaeldin, Compatibility matrix does not include Alfresco 3 stable (community version). Is the community version of Alfresco 3 compatible? Also, your documentation lacks how to for liferay-portal users.. it'd be great if you devise one up.. or I can help out upon successfully installing it. Btw, I'm making an assumption that Liferay/Alfresco can run on any AS platform (tomcat, jboss, glassfish.. etc). Am I correct? thanks, June |

Alaaeldin, I've added the two amp files 'awpr-example-webscripts.amp' and 'star-1.0.0.amp' to Labs Final (3.0.0) and I'm able to start up Alfresco. However, when I add 'chaining-authentication-context.xml' to the [TOMCAT_HOME]/shared/classes/alfresco/extension directory as suggested and I'm getting an error saying 'Cannot resolve reference to bean 'indexerAndSearcherFactory'.. Any ideas? Btw, I'm able to start up Liferay with awpr installed but it shows and error message when adding the application to the page saying.. 'An error occurred while trying to access the webscript'... i assume it's related to the issue above. Thanks, June |

Alfresco 3.0 Community has been added to the compatibility matrix. Thanks for pointing that out. Installing AWPr in liferay is a matter of installing the plugin from our Liferay plugin repository. I also added a section on the wiki for building and deploying AWPr from source. Your assumption about application servers is correct. If Liferay is running in an application server AWPr can be installed in it as a portlet plugin. chaining-authentication-context.xml had typos on the wiki. This is now fixed. I also noticed that chaining-authentication-context.xml is different when using Alfresco 3.0 vs 3.1. The wiki has been updated to document those differences. I found an issue in the code when a ticket acquisition is attempted on a non-existing Alfresco instance. This bug is fixed in 1.0.1 and will be released sometime this week. Please try to created separate jira issues for each problem you face so that it's easier to navigate. Thanks :) |
