Based on a discussion with Alaaeldin: "I'm catching up on this e-mail thread but wanted to let you know that enabling the PACL Security Manager is something we should definitely attempt, but be forewarned that doing that disables large useful portions of Liferay's APIs that may render your plugin unusable. Also, the PACL Sec Mgr in Liferay 6.1 was buggy, and don't know if LR 6.2's is any better. So we should certainly "try it" first and if it works then great, if not then we should disable it for now."
