Liferay 5.2.3 (Tomcat Server)
Alfresco 3.0 Labs (Tomcat Server)
Hi,
I followed the instruction in the wiki to install AWPr portlet in Liferay 5.2.3. Also i have deployed example webscript amp and STAr amp in the Alfresco 3.0 Labs. We want login credentials of the user logged in to liferay portal to be passed to Alfresco through AWPr portlet and to call example webscript to display Alfresco folders. But there are lot of JavaScript error which is causing the problem while rendering the alfresco folders in the portlet. Please refer the attachments.
Following are my doubts based on observation:
1. When we try to access the webscript from Alfresco without logging into alfresco, it displays the breadcrumb and keep on refreshing for endless time and throws bunch of JavaScript errors Why is it so?
2. MySpaces webscript requires user login (as it is mentioned in the webscript)) and if I login to Alfresco and then try to access the webscript from Alfresco it displays all the folders properly.
3. Whatsnew webscript is displayed without any errors since it do not ask for login and guest login is enough. Please confirm?
4. When I try to access the AWPr portlet with all the settings for the Myspaces portlet in the Preferences, it shows the same behavior for the liferay user which is not in Alfresco and throws JavaScript errors. Is it the expected behavior?
5. While doing the settings in the preferences of the AWPr portlet for MySpaces webscript, do we have to mention the IP address of the server on which the Alfresco is hosted?
What if both Alfresco & Liferay server are hosted on the same machine - should localhost enough in this case?
What if the liferay portal is hosted on the internet? then do we have to change the preference of this portlet mentioning the public IP of the Alfresco server?
6. When we try to open up the documents listed in the AWPr portlet it do not redirect to alfresco. instead it takes the liferay's context path. (e.g.: it try to open the document using URL http://liferay_serevr:8080/alfresco instead of http://alfresco_server:8080/alfresco ) Why?
7. Icon images for Alfresco folders/documents are not rendered properly on the AWPr portlet. What could be the reason?
Thanks & Regards,
Amol
