"My Checked-Out Documents" tree stays selected incorrectly

After clicking on the "My Checked-Out Documents" tree to select it, if a user clicks a link to a folder from the search results, navigation completes successfully but the "My Checked-Out Documents" tree stays selected even though the correct node in the navigation tree is also selected.
